Will my insurance cover therapy?

When looking into therapy, coverage by your insurance depends on whether the provider is in network and if the specific therapist accepts your plan. All our therapists hold advanced degrees and are trained in mental health treatment.

Out-of-pocket costs vary by individual insurance policies, with co-pays ranging from $0 to $150. Our benefits coordinator will need your name, date of birth, and member ID number to get specific details for you. Self-pay rates range from $120 to $135, with lower rates for interns.

Please note that self-pay clients cannot have claims billed to insurance for deductibles. After each session, a credit card on file will be charged for any out-of-pocket expenses, and we aim to inform you of these costs upfront to avoid surprises.

What if I want my child to see a therapist?

When considering therapy for children, the process begins with understanding the reasons behind seeking help for your child. The next step involves confirming insurance coverage or setting a self-pay rate depending on the clinician's specialties and your preferences.

Not all of our providers work with children. We will help pair your child with a provider based on your specific needs. Parents are asked to fill out a questionnaire beforehand to outline the areas where they would like their child to receive support.

Often, parents are invited to attend the first session to share insights, background information, and any concerns with the clinician. This initial meeting helps the child therapist understand the family dynamics, after which the following session focuses solely on the child, allowing them to build a trusting relationship with the therapist. For families that are separated, divorced, or going through a pending divorce, it is preferred that both parents provide consent for treatment.
