Leigh Devine, LCSW
Lotus of Life Counseling was grown out of a desire to serve individuals and families in Indiana across the lifespan in a safe, supportive environment. Therapy is offered both in person in our Westfield office and virtually.
Owner and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Leigh Devine, uses a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Strength-Based, Solutions-Focused and Mindfulness in order to provide individualized treatment. Leigh is also certified in a treatment method for disordered eating called EDIT. See below for more information on that.

"Hi, I'm Emily Katter, Master’s Level Intern Therapist, with experience in community and school settings both locally and internationally. My areas of clinical focus and interest are teaching coping skills, emotional regulation, and advocacy. I enjoy building relationships with kids and teens in order to help them better understand themselves and it is rewarding to me both professionally and personally. I incorporate play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness into each session with clients. I am seeing clients virtually or in person at the Westfield office. In my free time I like to play sports, especially basketball and playing board games with my family"

Dawn Lambert, Licensed Social Worker
Dawn Lambert is a licensed social worker committed to creating a non-judgemental and compassionate space for clients. Dawn aims to cultivate an individualized therapeutic experience focused on awareness of patterns contributing to distress with anxiety, depression, life adjustments, grief and relationship challenges. Using components of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, and mindfulness, clients can expect to explore their experiences with the goal of seeking inner peace through connection to their values. Dawn has experience working in medical social work with extensive work in grief, end of life, infant/pregnancy loss and disease adjustment. As a social worker, Dawn can offer the individual therapeutic experience with a person in environment which offers a holistic treatment of an Individual's struggles.

Tatenda Kunaka, Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Tatenda received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from IUPUI and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marian University Indianapolis. Tatenda has worked in a variety of settings including schools, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and in community mental health as a mental health therapist. Tatenda has experience working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, adjustment issues, mood disorders, trauma/trauma related issues, and communication issues.
Tatenda enjoys working with middle adolescence and adults. She is committed to helping individuals navigate daily stressors and life challenges. She is passionate about helping people improve well-being and become the best version of themselves. Tatenda uses a variety of approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and strengths-based therapy.
In her free time, Tatenda enjoys playing tennis with friends, doing yoga, and traveling.

Deirdre O’Connor, LSW
Deirdre is a Licensed Social Worker whose approach is warm, inviting, and insightful. Deirdre received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Indiana University in 2012 and her Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University in 2016. Deirdre uses a variety of integrative and holistic approaches with all clients. She meets her clients where they are and provides a safe space to explore struggles, discover strengths and guide in self-discovery and personal growth. She believes that clarity and ease can come from connecting the mind, body and spirit. She utilizes various mindfulness techniques to help clients gain insight in the mind-body connection, regulate emotions, manage challenges and better understand themselves. In addition to mind/body based approaches, Deirdre draws from a variation of techniques including; Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, the Biopsychosocial Model, and the Strengths-Based approach. Deirdre has experience in working with children, teens, adults, and families. She has a passion for working with individuals who are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, trauma, perinatal mood disorders, substance abuse, and grief/loss.

Morgan Thomas, LMHCA
Morgan is a LGBTQ+ affirming therapist who is passionate about working with individuals across the lifespan. Morgan has provided therapy in a variety of settings including elementary/middle school, health clinic and on a college campus. She believes that the client is the expert on their own life and values safety within the therapeutic relationship. Morgan approaches her work through a client-centered lens and incorporates play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and inner child healing to name a few. She provides a trauma-informed lens to guide you back home to your authentic self.
